农村公共文化服务有效供给的现实困境与策略创新——基于社会资本理论的视角

作为政治社会学的一个重要概念，社会资本的理论构成了农村公共文化服务有效供给的重要资源，对提升当下我国农村公共文化服务的供给实效具有借鉴意义，信任社会资本能够提升农村民众对公共文化服务供给的价值认同，规范社会资本可以促进农村公共文化服务供给的制度化，而公民参与网络有助于扩大农村公共文化服务的融资渠道。然而，在当前社会转型期内，我国农村现代社会资本的分布还很不均衡，总体发育不够成熟，这其中，农村民众普遍社会信任的产生还面临许多困境，各级政府对农村公共文化服务供给的制度规范存在不足，同时，农村公民社会不发达，农村文化类民间组织发育不良，农村民众参与意识较为薄弱，这些都构成了当下制约农村公共文化服务有效供给的社会根源，因此，在推进农村公共文化服务有效供给的过程中，地方政府必须大力提升其现代社会资本存量，强化宣传教育，着力提升地方官员的公共服务能力与农村民众的认识水平，积极转变地方政府的供给模式，实现地方政府文化管理过程的善治转变，并积极完善供给机制，大力培育农村民间组织，实现农村公共文化服务资金来源的多元化。     

新农村利益关系视阈下农村伦理文化的构建

任何一种利益关系都是在一定的文化养育中成长起来的,文化价值奠定了经济主体基本的行为方式,我国既有伦理文化,难以为新农村利益关系的产生和发展提供必要的思想基础和制度材料。在建构市场经济条件下新农村利益关系时,必须进行基础性、全面性的伦理文化的建设工作。既要推进传统伦理文化的开拓创新,又要实现市场经济条件下农村的法治化,并在新农村集体主义的建构中实现农村集体利益与个人利益的双向存在。     

酒的起源新探

历来研究酒的起源，多以人工酿酒起源为源头。本文不同意这种观点，认为人工酿造的酒是流不是源。本文从地球上开始出现酒精分子、酵母菌等真菌、谷物和水果等成酒要素为线索，探讨了地球上自然形成的酒、猿酒、人工酿造的酒的源流关系，得出了酒起源于自然形成的酒，人工酿造的酒是在长期接触自然形成的酒的基础上发展起来的结论。     

The Effects of the Facial Expression of Beneficiaries in Charity Appeals and Psychological Involvement on Donation Intentions

To increase the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns, many human‐need charities include pictures of beneficiaries in their ads. However, it is unclear when and why the facial expression of these beneficiaries (sad versus happy) may influence the effectiveness of charity ads. To answer these questions, an experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of the facial expression on donation intentions, while considering the moderating role of psychological involvement with charities. It found that psychological involvement with charities moderated the impact of the facial expression on donation intentions in that seeing a picture of a sad versus happy person increased intentions to give among participants with lower levels of psychological involvement, whereas the reverse was true for highly involved participants. The moderating effect of psychological involvement was fully explained by the perceived efficacy of one's donation. The findings not only contribute to our understanding of the effect of the facial expression of people pictured in charity appeals on donation behavior, but also suggest that nonprofits should tailor their ads to target potential donors with various levels of psychological involvement with charities.     

International Rule of Law and Rule of Law Construction in China

The rule of law has international as well as domestic attributes, so it can be divided into two levels: the domestic rule of law and the international rule of law. Using the thinking behind the international rule of law to build the rule of law in China is both necessary and inevitable. China should put into practice the idea of the international rule of law at the institutional and the governance levels, and should at the same time participate in the UN’s rule of law activities and in international rule-making, thereby extending its rule of law discourse power and influence in the international sphere.     

Peer violence in foster care: a review of the research evidence

Whilst a small amount of research has been undertaken on peer violence in residential settings, very little is known about peer violence in foster care. This paper reviews the published research since 1995 about the nature and extent of peer violence in foster care and interventions for preventing and managing these negative peer interactions. The evidence indicates that young people in foster care can be the instigators and recipients of peer violence, but the limited number of studies found means that conclusions cannot be drawn about the extent of the problem. There is some evidence about the impact of this type of violence on young people and fostering households. However, there remain gaps in the evidence about the full extent of all forms of exploitation and violence that are experienced and instigated by young people in foster care, the circumstances in which it takes place, the young people affected and its co‐occurrence with other difficulties. Critically, young people's views were largely absent from included studies, an important area that requires further research.     

Has Family Policy Come of Age? A Decade Review of the State of U.S. Family Policy in the 1990s

Family policy has come of age in the 1990s, yet it has not achieved a status commensurate with that of economic or environmental policy. Because family policy has been difficult to define, this review proposes an explicit definition of the term family policy and a companion implicit term, a family perspective in policy making It updates the rationale for family policy, arguing that family commitment at its core is particularly consequential in an individualistic market economy with a small social safety net. It chronicles recent developments including philanthropic commitments, state and federal policy initiatives, and the use of research to inform family policy making. Selected family policy issues including family and work conflict, long-term care, family poverty, and marriage, are overviewed. The paper concludes with developments during the decade in theory, methods, and dissemination that hold the potential for capitalizing on the current popularity of families as a theme in policy making.

All Shook Up: Sexuality of Mid- to Later Life Married Couples

The authors integrate theoretical work on the performance of gender with a life course perspective to frame an analysis of in-depth interviews with 17 long-term married couples. The findings indicated that couples' sexual experiences are characterized by change over time, yet that change is shaped by the intersection of gender and age. Midlife couples (ages 50 - 69) were distressed by changes in their sex lives likely because they impede couples from performing gendered sexuality. The source of this distress stems from age-related physical changes; however, it manifests in different ways for husbands and wives. In contrast, later life couples (ages 70 - 86) were more likely to emphasize the importance of emotional intimacy over sex as they age. Marital sex is a source of conflict for many midlife couples because of husbands' and wives' incongruent experiences, but later life husbands and wives tend to have more congruent experiences of marital sex.
